1. Information we collect
When you join our waitlist, place an order, or contact us, we may collect:
- Identifiers — name, email address, shipping address
- Commercial information — products purchased and order history
- Internet activity — IP address, basic email engagement (opens/clicks), and how you use the site: pages viewed, clicks, scrolling, and mouse movement. See section 4 for details.
We do not collect sensitive personal information, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
Payment cards: We never receive or store your full card number. Payments are processed by Stripe on Stripe-hosted checkout pages; your card details go directly to Stripe, not to us.
2. Why we use it
- To fulfill and ship your orders
- To send order confirmations and, if you opt in, marketing emails
- To prevent fraud and abuse
- To comply with legal and tax obligations
3. Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers who process it on our behalf under contract, including Stripe (payment processing), Resend (email), Vercel (hosting), our database host, Upstash (abuse prevention), Google (analytics), and Microsoft (product analytics and session replay). We may also disclose information if required by law.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
4. Analytics and session recording
We use two analytics services to understand how the site is used so we can improve it:
- Google Analytics 4 — pages viewed, how you reached the site, and whether you joined the waitlist. Reported in aggregate.
- Microsoft Clarity — records how visitors interact with pages, including clicks, scrolling, and mouse movement, and produces heatmaps and playbacks of those interactions.
What is masked: text you type is masked before it leaves your browser, and email fields are explicitly excluded. We do not use these tools to capture your email address, payment details, or the contents of form fields.
How to opt out: most ad and tracker blockers stop both services, and neither is required to browse or use the site. You can also email us at privacy@shopamorla.com and we will exclude you.
5. How long we keep it
We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above — order records for up to 7 years for tax/legal reasons, and marketing contacts until you unsubscribe.
6. Your California privacy rights
You have the right to:
- Know / Access — request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we hold
- Delete — request deletion of your personal information
- Correct — request correction of inaccurate information
- Opt out of sale/sharing — although we do not sell or share, you may still exercise this right
- Non-discrimination — we will not deny service or charge you more for exercising these rights
7. How to exercise your rights
Email us at privacy@shopamorla.com with your request. We will verify your identity and respond within 45 days. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf.
